Held the record for a long time as the most tattooed man on Earth.

This piece was created as a part of the series for Tattoo You. I have always had a fascination with body modifying, and the people who undertake it, so researching Omi was great value.

This turned out beyond what I was hoping for from the drawing, obviously such a striking, bold image is going to look good fairly easily, but the subtleties in both the black and white areas are what I feel really separates this image from how I originally saw it. The stock image for this piece left a lot to be desired also, but I think that this aided me in achieving the final result.

This image asks just one question of the viewer: "Why?"
