As blind as God, the man in the moon does nothing but stare at the Earth, yet can see nothing.
I drew this picture of the moon out the front of my house one night, when there was a full moon.
I sat on the ground with my paper and charcoal, with only the light from the moon to see what I was drawing. The more I looked for the face on the moon, the more I could see it.
I have always held a fascination with what's beyond, and the moon being so close, makes it all seem so far away. I'd love to go there one day, and do some sketches, and know that any dust that fell to the ground could potentially stay there for almost an eternity. Almost, as only nothing can exist for all time, as everything else will one day end.
