I knew this would not be fun, and after drawing hair for about ten hours, I had cursed and sworn profusely at these two gentlemen, whom I have great respect and admiration for. I drew this on really heavy and toothy watercolour paper, and the charcoal stuck to it like Velcro, so working it on the surface was tedious and tiresome. Really happy with it when I finally declared it finished.

There was only about eight hours between me signing it and Omarand Cedric signing it. They were more than happy with the piece, and entirely the nicest people you could ever hope to meet.

Their performance at the Thebarton Theatre was a truly awe-inspiring spectacle, and you can read about it in more detail, if you are bored enough, in my blog at my Myspace. If you haven't heard The Mars Volta, to use a cheesy rock quote, “check it out”. (Just don't expect it to sound like anything you may have heard!!)
