See text below.

The bassist for the group Mudvayne, and one of four individual pieces intended to be printed as one.

I love listening to his style of bass playing, as he is intricate and precise, and helps to prove that the bass is not just to “fill out” the music.

This is another I was not looking forward to drawing, but I couldn't just do the other three, could I? He is dirty and greasy looking, so achieving this look with something as dry as charcoal was going to be a challenge. It came together pretty easily when I got into it, and I was very pleased with the end result.

The standard I had to achieve was set, by the other three, so I didn't have any choice other than to do a good job. I really would like to know what the guys think of themselves as drawn by me, but I can't seem to get them to look at them.

If you want an example of a very nice bass line indeed, check out Death Blooms from the Mudvayne album L.D. 50.
