Hmm. Possessing a truly unique voice, and mindset, Maynard is the frontman for the bands Tool, A Perfect Circle and probably a lot more. His way of thinking is intriguing, and he remains a fairly enigmatic person, with a large following.

This was the first piece that I drew that had a predominately white background, so was a challenging piece, but I really liked the effect of leaving areas of untouched white, and the intensity that this creates. Sorry Mr Collella, I still say you were wrong on that one.

Maynard's views are thought-provoking to say the least, and his works are not for anyone looking for auditory bubblegum. Non-thinkers need not bother, anyone else should at least give him a try.

Ænima would be my personal favourite of his releases, this album just meets everything I could need in an album. I think Maynard would be one of the most interesting people to talk to over a nice glass of red and stuff. I don't know what I'd say, I'd be more interested in listening anyway.
