This was actually the first piece to be started of the two Ulver pics that I drew from their 1996 period.
I was unable to find a suitable image that I wanted for Of Wolves and Snow, so I decided to do this one, as I had a decent stock image to work from, and I desperately wanted to immortalise this point in time for them, as their Nattens Madrigal release is one of my all time favourite albums, and I would like to point this out to the world. It is an album that people should have a listen to - unique, raw, beautiful and complex.
